The Iowa caucus is the first major contest in the U.S.

We have been ignoring problems.  The economy, education, and everything will be better as problems are fixed.  We can be in an ever-lasting better place, when we fix things, if we don't, we won't.  It's that simple, today's presidents aren't competent to fix things.
